Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Posted: December 1, 2011 Filed under: Fashion, Outfit Posts, Trends | Tags: anthropologie, Carmen Sandiego, Old Navy 1 Comment »Today, is more about the outerwear since it is snowing! What a great way to kick off the Christmas season and the month of December. Since its cold and snowing that calls for a hat and trench petit coat! Combine the two and you have a bit of Carmen Sandiego. Did you ever play Carmen Sandiego, when you were a kid? I used to (and still) be obsessed with video games. For some reason, I have been a computer game nerd and Carmen Sandiego was always one of my favs. Who doesn’t like to solve mysteries? Today I decided to channel Carmen a bit and now am ready to set out on solving a mystery, always on the look out!

Livin’ It Up
Posted: November 22, 2011 Filed under: Concerts, Things to do in Denver | Tags: Dierks Bentley, events, Old Navy 2 Comments »The words are just coming and coming with all my excitement from this past Saturday. Let’s just say it was pretty much the best day EVER. Don’t you just love days like that?!? So here we go! Left our house all cleaned and went off to Old Navy for 75% off all jackets. I got 2 jackets and a present for Lucy for only $42.00. Then we were walking around the mall and walked past Sports Authority and Eric Decker (Bronco player #87 if you didn’t know) signing autographs. He is Molly’s favorite player! That is enough excitement you would think, but then it was off to the Dierks Bentley concert. My favorite singer, 17th row!! So at the concert, we were with our friend Whit and she is a huge Avs fan and she had heard Matt Duchene was going to be at the concert. Her hopes were to see him, but with thousands of people, we figured that wouldn’t happen. Much to our surprise, he walked pasted us 3 times! Now that is the best day EVER!
How to Borrow Your Sister’s Clothes
Posted: November 16, 2011 Filed under: Fashion, Outfit Posts, Trends, Uncategorized | Tags: jeans, Mak, Nordstrom BP, Old Navy 2 Comments »Alright, so I have a lot to teach you today and that would be how to borrow your sister’s clothes. First, you have to have a sister you live with (or a friend will do). Second, they have to have a job that they leave for before you. Then you sneak into their room after they have left and take your pick. You now have 2 closets full of clothes. Your own and then your sister’s. If you don’t want your sister to know (which is often what happens to me), you wear the clothes and then right before you get home you put on an extra layer or change your shirt in the car. If you add that extra layer, make sure to head straight to your room and change your clothes like you are extremely busy. And that is how you do it! Yes, you will thank me now. My sister may not or I may not be thanking myself later, when Mak finds out I’m wearing her clothes, but this was really about helping everyone else out. It’s that time of year to help others, right!?!
