Selena Concert

We all know my obsession with Elvis and High School Musical, as well as slowly learning my Disney obsession.  It all started with a love for Mickey and Minnie when I was little, later turning into Pooh and Tigger in middle school, and then high school hit and the Disney Channel obsession started.  All of it began with a love for “Lizzie McGuire.”  I remember the first time watching it, I was babysitting and it came on right after the kid went to bed. I loved the first episode and it all started.

You would think it might have died out during college, but it still continues strong!  So as you can see I started watching “Wizards of Waverly Place” and how can you not love Selena in it!  So when she came, I had to go see here!  Let’s just say it is probably my last kid concert, well until Hilary Duff goes on tour again!  Anyways, the concert was amazing and we were in the 7th row surrounded by screaming 12 years old so not a lot can be better then that!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!!

The Side Car Dream

Do you remember the side car that Dr. Jones rides in, in Indiana Jones?

Well, Mak has had a dream to be just like Dr. Jones and ride in that sidecar.  On the top of her list of things to do before she dies is to ride in a sidecar.  Luckily, we have the best sister and brother-in-law in the world!  For Mak’s birthday, Jesse (brother-in-law) set up with his amazing friend, Brad, who has a sidecar, for an adventure for Mak.  Since April, Jesse has been planning this.  I have known for about a month and a half.  Having to keep that kind of secret is hard.  My answer to every question from Mak was either ice cream (that’s where we were driving to in the sidecar) or no.  ”Will I be sitting? No, Will I be in the air? No, Will I be in an ice cream fight? No”  You get the idea.  This is how my day went yesterday.

Mak knew nothing and all of the sudden Jesse comes zooming down my parent’s street on a vespa and following behind honking the horn is Brad with the sidecar.  Mak was so so so excited!  Jesse then made a video to document it all.  Below you can see the excitement and the best day EVER for Mak.

Happy Birthday, Molly!!  Thanks Jesse and Jessica!!!

Happy Birthday, Molly!

Happy, happy birthday to my wonderfully, awesome sister, Molly!!!  She is 26 years old today!!!  Yay!  Mak is all worried about turning 26 because she now is officially closer to 30 and as she puts it “over a quarter of her life is over.”  Yeah, I know right, horrible way to put it.

Let’s just say Mak is like the other half of me.  It is kind of ridiculous how well she knows me and knows what I am thinking.  Really if only I could find a husband that was Mak in a man form I would be set.  No joke!  We are like married.  I’m the wife doing the cooking, baking, ironing, and sometimes cleaning.  She makes more money and owns the house.  There you go, old married couple!  That’s us!!  I really just wanted to say Happy Birthday to one of the best sisters you could ever have!!! Love you lots!
