Brightly Colored

Yesterday I ended up not having to work, so it gave me time to pick out a kickin’ outfit.  As I am part time nanny, part time wedding planner, when I nanny, I throw on a pair of shorts and a tank top, nothing special.  I mean, why look nice, when you are running around with little kids all day.

However, when I have the time, I love to dress up.  So yesterday, I took sometime to find the perfect outfit.  Well, I felt it was perfect and Mak said she liked it when she got home.  It is pretty much a blast of colors and a few black accents.  I even wore wedges, which, of course I felt like a giant, but they made my legs look damn good!  All that running is finally paying off again!  The runners legs are back!!!

Patiently Waiting

Patiently, I have been waiting the arrival of two packages.  Finally, as I was taping my foot just waiting for them to arrive, they were placed on my door step.  I ran outside in all my excitement.  I bet you are wondering what was in the boxes.  Well, you are going to find out!

Oh there they are, my two packages!  Would you like to know what is inside?  My book I have been waiting to come out since last year when I finished I am Number Four.  The Power of Six!  The sequel!  You are all thinking that is the book you were waiting for.  Well, don’t talk to me until you’ve read the first one.  It’s Awesome!

Really the book was just a side note, even thought that is what I spent my Friday night doing.  The real treasure is my new shoes!!  They have been long awaited considering I bought the wrong size had to send them back.  They were out on that website so I had to find them somewhere else.  Luckily shopruche.com had my shoes in my size!!!

Aren’t they so pretty!?!  I love them and just know they are going to be a staple for my closet/outfitting this year!!  Tights or pants or bare legs, they go with everything!!

A Little Off Center

So I know it is a bit of a weird title and you are probably thinking, what does that mean?  Well, let me inform you.  I never realized how hard it is to take pictures of yourself and get in the right position.  I am waiting to get a tri-pod so I don’t have to place it on funky objects to take pictures.  However, when I was taking photos today, I could not seem to get in the middle of the picture.  It didn’t matter where, I stood, I just couldn’t figure it out.

Really it is fun taking pictures, but I have to say it is a little weird photographing yourself.  Nevertheless in a way super fun, since I love being in pictures.  You would know this by looking at our 5,000 pictures from Spain.  No joke, Mak and I took over 5,000 pictures on our 6 month trip in Spain and who was in 80% of them.  Me, Supercupcakeater, Jill Arlene.  Whatever you want to call me!!
